Two Brothers is a boutique wine project forged by siblings Ben and Daniel
Gould.
Both have worked for over 10 years in the Margaret River region, Ben as the
committed winemaker and Daniel a man of vines, barrel halls and bottling
lines. Cutting their teeth
in the family winery and vineyards, the boys hatched plans to bring their
own label to life…
The grapes are sourced from family owned, exceptional Margaret River
vineyards known
for producing consistent, expressive fruit. The wines are traditionally made
in small ferments
and carefully matured by Ben and Dan until ready for bottling. The Two
Brothers range
is made with relaxed drinking in mind yet shows the full flex of the boys
wine-making skills. Ben, Dan and Billy the Dog proudly present the fruits of their labours…
squashed, fermented and matured.
BLIND CORNER
Vineyard
Located
in a prime position on the outskirts of Cowaramup township in the Margaret
River region, the 4 hectare Blind Corner vineyard is owned and
managed by Ben & Naomi Gould, winemaker and proprietor of Blind Corner
wines. The 10-year old vines are planted to 5 varieties and are in the process of
conversion to full Biodynamic management. The vineyard is organically grown
and the wines are single varietal expressions of the unique site. On a
gentle slope with maximum sun exposure, the vineyard
produces fruit of the highest quality. At harvest the fruit is hand picked,
basket pressed and made into premium wine with minimum intervention. Each wine speaks of the location from which it has come and is made in
minute quantity.
Ben is a previous Young Winemaker Of The Year
Nominee and his youthful, artisan approach is reflected in his wines. Ben has worked extensively in
the Margaret River region over the past decade when not swanning around
vineyards in France, Italy, Spain and Germany. Ben’s commitment to flagship
wines from Margaret River has been realised by his Blind Corner vineyard.
His vibrant approach to European accented wines is an exciting development
for Margaret River’s boutique winemaking scene.

Lone Crow wines is a small producer in The Geographe
Wine region of Western Australia.
Vines were first planted on the Espinos property by
the current owners
great grandfather and father. Great Grandfather Dolfu
immigrated from
Spain in 1907 and took up farming in the area, bringing
with him a
family history of winemaking, it seamed logical
that he would
continue this tradition in Australia. Kim and
Jody Espinos are the fourth generation to continue the farming
and winemaking business on the family property at Yoongarillup Rd, Busselton.
Their
commitment continues, producing quality grapes to
produce, affordable, generous wines full of the
wonderful flavours of the terrior and climate that Geographe region is
known for.
