To the wonderful team at the Vasse...
I just wanted to express my absolute and sincerest thanks for all of the wonderful Gluten Free items you have on your menu. Finding out I had such a serious food allergy a few years ago was a pretty soul destroying event in my life but it so reassuring to know that whenever we're in town I can always get a fabulous meal at the Vasse. And I must admit I have never seen a gluten free menu so extensive! I can't tell you how lovely it is to actually have a choice (not just a garden salad with no dressing or a steak with no sauce). My husband and I are coming down this weekend for our wedding anniversary and I'm really looking forward to trying some of the new things on the menu. I think we're going to have to come for lunch and dinner just to try everything!

Great time in Busselton
October 2010

On our last visit to Busselton we had dinner at the Vasse, great food with friendly service from the staff.
Our duughter is ceoliac and we were amazed to find a great GF menu with lots of choices. Thank you for the geat time we had and we will be back
 in the summer.

Vasse Steak Burger  Tender Scotch fillet steak, cos lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, caramelised onion and aioli between a lightly toasted sour dough roll served with french fries

Chicken Pie  Oven roasted Mt Barker chicken, sweet corn, chives and baby spinach in a creamy sauce topped with flaky pastry. Served with wedges and a side salad

Vegetable Frittata  Roasted Mediterranean vegetables served with grilled local asparagus and a creamy pepper sauce


Salt and pepper squid salad  A mixed salad of cos lettuce, cucumber, spanish  onion, roma tomatoes,pepperonata, avocado and pine nuts, topped with crispy salt and pepper squid finished with a tangy lime mayo

Vasse Caesar Salad 
Cos lettuce, crispy bacon, croutons, egg, anchovy and parmesan tossed with Caesar     salad dressing

Chicken Caesar Salad  Original Caesar topped with oven roasted Mount Barker chicken

Seafood Taste Plate –   A trio of oysters (Kilpatrick, creamy mornay,  natural), Cajun calamari with honey sesame dressing and homemade prawn spring rolls with dipping sauce

Garlic Prawns  Pan fried Australian king prawns  with garlic and parsley finished with a Pernot cream reduction on wiled rice,

Chilli Mussels  Fresh mussels with chilli, garlic and basil steamed in a white wine and tomato sauce served with garlic bread

Chicken  Mount Barker chicken breast filled with baby spinich, roasted capsicum and cream cheese on roasted sweet potato with pancetta and topped with a champagne cream sauce

Beef   Grilled 300g sirloin on roasted baby chat potatoes with local asparagus sicilian olives and white anchovy butter

Reef and Beef  Grilled 300g MSA porterhouse steak topped with king prawns in a creamy garlic sauce served with French fries
